We're Back!!!

It was a crazy fall in the Pritchard home. Thursday watching our middle school boy play QB for his 7th grade team. Friday watching our sophomore son play QB for his high school team. Saturday watching Tavita play QB for Stanford. What a wild, but fun season it has been. Suddenly we turned around and it's almost time for basketball season to end and spring to arrive! We have been praying about direction for our website and our ministry. Now we are scheduled to speak several times in the next few months so we decided it was a great time to begin posting some regular articles. Be on the look out for some upcoming articles on parenting and family. Check out our speaking schedule and come join us if we are going to be anywhere near you. Please send us your parenting questions and any comments that you might have. We aslo have just produced our first audio CD with an accompanying work book (The Three Most Important Things To Teach Your Child / Discipline). We'll try to make it available online soon. In the meantime - be blessed and come visit us often. Next we'll have an article on recent research that shows quantitatively that your parenting matters.

Blessings,
David & Kelli

    Hello Pritchard family,

Kelli, you came and spoke at our MOPs group at RVCC yesterday. I was so impressed and touched by your words that I had to come check out your familys' website. I hope we will have the pleasure of hearing both you and your husband speak to our church-I can't wait to tell them about you guys! Thanks for all that you are giving and hope you had fun on your beach vacation!

    Hi David and Kelli,

My husband and I were blessed to hear you speak at YoungLife's Woodleaf this past weekend. We have a 5 and 7 year old in public school here in San Francisco (aka Babylon!). I am seen as a "strict" mom. The concepts you shared at Woodleaf, along with your book, are very helpful and right on track with what we are trying to accomplish with our kids. Thank you so much for helping clarify our mission! We have already made some adjustments based on your ideas (2 days in to 5 psalms and 1 proverb!).

I would love to know more about how you handle the following topics: Money and allowance; nutrition and food choices; and media (movies, music, books). I know we need to foster independence and good choices, but we are not always sure when and how to release the control. We are figuring it out as we go along, but we would love to hear from your experience and wisdom.

Thanks so much, and I pray that your good work would bless you and your family.
    Kathleen
